Quest-Annahme

Der Zoo Verwalter Martin auf dem Tempel-Vorplatz in Gludin reagiert zunächst etwas skeptisch auf den Wunsch, sich ein Pet anzuschaffen. Als Mitglied der 'Vereinigung der Tierliebhaber' ("Animal lovers Association") verlangt er einen Beweis dafür, dass man dafür auch geeignet ist. Er erzählt davon, dass Tiere in allen Gegenden immer wieder von Monstern brutal abgeschlachtet werden und die Aufgabe soll nun darin bestehen, solche Monster in einem der Gebiete zu erlegen. Man bekommt eine Animals Slayer's List ins Quest-Inventar mit auf den Weg, auf der Mobnamen wie auch Gebietsbezeichnung zur Erinnerung festgehalten sind.

Die Jagd

Um welches Gebiet und damit auch um welche Mobs es sich handelt, hängt von der Rasse des Chars ab, denn die Mobs befinden sich jeweils in den Startgebieten:

• Menschen - Giant Spider (Lv 15), Talon Spider (Lv 16) und Blade Spider (Lv 17) im Northern Territory
• Elfen - Crimson Spider (Lv 16), Hook Spider (Lv 16) und Pincer Spider (Lv 17) im südlichen Elven Forest
• Dunkelelfen - Lesser Dark Horror (Lv 15) und Dark Horror (Lv 16) im Swampland oder Prowler (Lv 17) im Dark Forest
• Orks - Kasha Spider (Lv 15), Kasha Fang Spider (Lv 16) und Kasha Blade Spider (Lv 17) auf dem Immortal Plateau und beim Frozen Waterfall
• Zwerge - Hunter Tarantula (Lv 16) und Plunder Tarantula (Lv 17) in der zentralen Western Mining Zone
• Kamael - Crimson Spider (Lv 16) in Mimir's Forest

Es sind also immer irgendwelche Spinnen zu jagen und als Beweis für den Erfolg muß man Martin 50 gesammelte Trophäen bringen.

Aufsuchen anderer Mitglieder

Nun soll man andere Mitglieder der 'Vereinigung der Tierliebhaber' ("Animal lovers Association") treffen und sich von ihnen einiges über Haustiere beibringen lassen (natürlich vornehmlich über Wölfe, denn so einen möchte man ja erhalten). Man bekommt zur Orientierung eine Animal Lover's List ins Quest-Inventar mit auf den Weg.
Mit folgenden NPCs muß man sich treffen und sich von ihnen etwas beibringen lassen:

• Gatekeeper Bella (im Inneren der Town of Gludio)
• Guard Metty (am Südausgang von Town of Dion)
• Accessory Jeweler Ellie (Schmuckhändlerin in der Town of Giran)

Die Reihenfolge ist egal, deren sogar farbig hinterlegte Infos ergeben aber in der Gesamtheit alle wichtigen Details.

Der Test

Zurück bei Martin wird man nun auf das erworbene Wissen hin geprüft und muß 10 aus 15 möglichen Fragen beantworten - erst am Ende erfährt man, ob man bei einer der Fragen falsch lag und muß dann die NPCs noch einmal der Reihe nach aufsuchen.
Mit Erfolg erhält man schließlich ein Wolf Collar.
